Cigarette Lighter Plug | Soldering required.

I managed to connect it without soldering. I simply spliced the wires.

I hooked it up as instructed but it didn't work. Fuse in the plug-in end looked good and was not burned out. The 12v plug in my vehicle is working because it charges my phone. No product wire polarity is indicated so I tried it both ways - - - still nothing.

Customer Service? Spend a few bucks to buy this yet have nothing to show for it.

I used a screw driver to unscrew the cigarette lighter plugs, both the old and the new one. I have used the old wire with the new cigarette lighter box. Pump has been back on service. Soldering not required.
