Q. When I connect my MF-1050 hose to the tire the fuse blows.

A. Try turning on the unit, then connect the compressor’s hose to the tire.

Q. Where do I purchase a new fuse for the MF-1050?

A. You can purchase the fuse at any auto parts store

Q. How do I connect the quick disconnect hose to the compressor.

A. Pull back the silver part of the quick disconnect, push the quick disconnect part onto the nipple and release.

Q. What is the warranty on the units?

A. There is a limited 2 year warranty on the units if the warranty card is returned to Q Industries, 401 East Las Olas Blvd, Suite 130, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Q. How do I file a claim for a warranty?

A. Please send an email to customerservice@qindustries.net. In the email, include the serial number located on the underbelly of the unit, your name and mailing address, the unit you purchased, a brief explanation as to what is occurring when you turn on the unit, and the name used on the warranty card that should have been filled out when originally purchased

Q. What is the standard time for a warranty claim?

A. The standard turn around time for a warranty claim is 4 weeks

Q. What is the maintenance for the air filter on the units?

A. MV50: Remove the air filter, rinse with water and air dry.

MF1089: Remove the air filter on the side of each cylinder head with a screwdriver, rinse and air dry.

Q. There is no adapter for the hose to connect the unit to tire. How do I inflate tire?

A. The quick connect hose has a brass fitting that you screw on directly to the tire. No adapters are needed to inflate tires.

Q. Why does the carton label say "UP TO 72 LPM" while the compressor label specifies "50 LPM" for output for the MF-1050?

A. 72 LPM is the flow rate from the cylinder head of the compressor, while the 50 LPM is the flow rate from the end of the hose. Most companies only provide the flow rate from the cylinder head.

Q. How do I connect the alligator/battery clamps to the battery?

A. The red clamp goes to the positive/red connector, while the black clamp goes to the negative/black connector.

Q. The compressor I purchased is not filling up an air tank, what do I do?

A. Some of our air compressors are not made to fill air tanks, though some customers have purchased the MF-1089 and occasionally the MF-1050 to fill small air tanks.

Q. Do I need to put oil in the air compressor?

A. Our air compressors do not require oil. Please keep in mind there might be some oil residue from the production stage.
